"Ballad of Birmingham" Before You Read

I was about 11 when I had a disturbing event happen to me. I was at school when I heard my father had passed away. I would like to make a ballad for my father. In memory of everything that he has done for me. My father was sick for a while. He was able to come home for thanksgiving but when he came home to have it with us he passed away a couple days when he arrived. I ran home from school and I held him in my arms and cried and cried non stop until the ambulance came. After all that we had a funeral for him and I cried non stop. I did not know how to control the way I felt. I didn't know what to say. The next day he got cremated and his ashes were given to my grandmother then me. I prayed on his ashes every time I saw it. I miss him and will never forget about him. He will always be kept in my heart. I love you daddy, so Rest in Peace.

“American History” Experience with Discrimination

When I was about eleven years old and was in art class. I wanted to sit at a table and three girls said I couldn't because I was not like them. So I just sat down anyway and they got up and moved to sit somewhere else. The table ended up to be the trouble maker table where we all just talked and did art. At first I felt bad because I had never had someone act that way towards me. I was not the popular girl but I was the tomboy of the class. When I sat down and did not listen to what they said I felt like I stepped up for myself. Then when other students came to sit down I felt better because we were all different. It was a great turn out.
“A Blessing” Break into Blossom Paragraph

On February 22, 1995 in the hospital a baby was born. That baby was me. Well my mother was giving birth and I had finally come out. I saw people surrounding me and lots of smiles. I heard people saying it's a girl and she is so beautiful. You guys are lucky parents. I touched my fathers hand and his hand was soft, chubby and big. I felt happy but at the same time I felt loved for the first time ever by my father. It made me feel lucky and glad to know that when I came to the world that I had a family.

Casey Anthony Trial
I can't believe this after 3 years has passed of Caylee Anthony's murder her mother was founded not guilty. That is all wrong, I think that the mother killed her own daughter. After all the science and investigation the jury still said she was not guilty. This women reported her daughter to police 31 days after she was missing. Don't you think that there is some suspicion in whether the mother was lying or not. Man, this is a shock and disappointment to me. Casey Anthony gets no consequence in the murder of her daughter. I still believe in karma and I know that whatever goes around will come back around twice as hard. Caylee was 2 years old when she was murdered. If she was alive right now she would be 5 years old and doing what she loves to do, but no she will never get chance do the things she would want to do. As the news lady, "THE DEVIL IS DANCING TONIGHT." This women is going to see hate all around her. Shame on Casey Anthony and I give Caylee my prayers. Rest in peace. The angles are with you now.

Field Trip Paragraph

So, this week I went to two field trips. On Tuesday the 10th of May, her whole Biology class went to the Dairy Farm on Milkyway Road. On the trip I saw a bay calf that waqs just born. I was hopeing to see the calf born, but we were too late. I also got to see the workers milk the cows and how they put those section tubes around the tits. It was okay to watch but, man did it smell. Yuck! Then they showed us how they put sperm into a cow. They freeze the sperm and then when they need it, they would take it out and place it in a plastic tube. Then after that they place the plastic tube in a medal tube and then squirt the sperm in the cows vaginal area. I noticed how the cows pooped a lot. It was disgusting because it smelt. Then toward the end we got to pet the baby calves. They were so cute. At the end they gave everyone a bag field with somethings in it. Then we went back to school and went to class. On Thursday the 12th of May I went on a field trip with Beedle. He took his Spanish and Art class to see art at the county and a Museum of art in La Jolla. The art was really beautiful and I enjoyed learning about it. I know that we had a couple of complaints, that was because kids were being loud and misbehaving. That made us look bad. Then after that we went to the cliffs of La Jolla and ate lunch. It was a gorgeous view and smelt good. I even saw seals and one sea star. That was cool. I enjoyed the peaceful breeze and the wonderful smell of the ocean. I had fun overall. I am glad I went on the field trip.

Free Post

So when I tell someone something, I expect them to keep what I say between us. I choose to trust someone but it is hard to know who to trust. I just always wonder what happens if I chose the wrong person to tell. Well I just get a person who is dishonest, a liar, not worthy, disloyal, unforgiving, not trusted, and just immature. But when I do find someone they are well trusted, honest, loyal, worthy, and mature. I like the second sentence better than the first. Sounds like a good person to me. Sometimes I just have to show some love and be dedicated to the ones who I can trust. So never underestimate a person just because you think you know them. There can be wearing a mask, and when it is taken off you will revile a very ugly person. That only has one word to describes it which is "FAKE."

“Switch” Play Audience Member Experience
Today I went on a sophomore field trip to a foster play. We all had to be in the front of the school office by 8:15 and we took a bus. When we went on the bus we were able to sit with who ever we wanted to sit with. I had sat next to Alex. We played a couple of games on the way there. Miss. Priester had made a little play of her own which was really funny. When we got there I had ran into old friends which were foster youth who had emancipated from the system. Once we had got into the theater they sat us down and from there the play started. The part when the actor pretended to be a little boy getting taken away from CPS made me cry. It brought flashbacks and old feelings that were still kept in me. I though that the play was real and very emotional. I thought that the characters had played their roles very well. The writer of the play wrote this play to show people what foster children had been through or what they are going through now. Two actors knew about the system and two of the actors knew nothing about the system until they were asked to play the roles of foster children. These stories were lives of real foster children who had been through all that emotional destruction. It was very touching in my opinion. After the play, we left and we had pizza. I did not have anything to eat because It was my choice, but I was able to tell that it was good because my classmates went back for more or they were just hungry. I enjoyed the trip. I am glad that I chose to go instead of refusing like I was planning to do, but I had a great time. Then we went back on the bus and headed back to school. The bus ride back was fun too. I know that everyone had a good time, they probably thought it was better than being at SPA and going to class.
