“Persuasive Project Topic Request.”

After reviewing the Voxopop discussion, I would like to persuade people to to fan at a sporting event, become a chaperone, or become apart of dragon's produce. You may listen to my class’s discussion here (http://www.voxopop.com/group/1fa82b63-3a2b-467a-a46d-efca85728ccc).

First Persuasive Paragraph

At that age freshman are not mature enough to handle that much responsibility. Younger students are easily influenced by their peers and which at times it can get them into trouble. Students at that age are in need of supervision. Typically students around that age don't display responsibility and are often impulsive. Younger children can be easily preyed by predators. Transportation is big to them. They can’t drive so they have to take a bus. Freshmen have a habit of talking to those who offer them something or think that they are cool. I know that because I was like that. So no, I would not have received self passes. Self passes require of honesty, responsibility, and well matured.

Business Letter

April 26, 2010

Mr. Ron Major
Principal
San Pasqual Academy
17701 San Pasqual Valley Road
Escondido CA, 92025

Dear Mr. Major:

Iam writing to you about a change in allowing us to wear tank tops in school. The sun will be out more often since it is going to be summer. Since you are the principal, it is our job as students to ask permission to allow tank tops on school grounds.

I would like to see this change occur because summer time is coming and the sun will be out. We live up near mountains and the sun shinning bright, but we should be allowed to wear them. Not every one enjoys wearing T-Shirts , on occasionally people want to wear tank tops because it is hot. During the summer people want to work on their sun tan.

Thank you in advanced for taking your time to hear us out by reading this letter. Hope you think what we said and get back to us as soon as possible. I look forward to hear what you think about our favor.

Sincerely,

Yajaira Orozco
