Primary and Secondary Sources Comparison

They both contain facts about an event or a person. They also both have at least one eyewitness. A primary source is a person who was there at the time of the event. An examples of primary sources could be a diary written from a person who was at the event. Another example is an eyewitness news report which is someone who was there at the time of the incident and saw everything. Last example is a personal essay which is a person writing about themselves and what they had seen or experienced. A secondary source is a person who knew some one who was at the event, and they were not. One example of secondary source is a history book which is not exact information, it is all hear words. Another example is a text book which is all hear from other people or made up information, it is not all exact. It can help during a crime or can help you with information needed to write a report or a solve a crime.
