Quote, Summary, or Paraphrase Paragraph
Welcome students! Today, I am going to teach you about quotes, summary, and paraphrase paragraphs. Evidence is something that proves or supports a statement. You summarize evidence when it is at the end of a paragraph or paper. To summarize you restate your main points. You quote evidence when your evidence comes from a certain person or source. To use a quote you use quotation marks and you credit the source. You paraphrase evidence when putting them into your own words and you site down the source from where you got it from. To paraphrase you you break things out into your own words. To help you remember this, you should study what the words mean.

Summaries are often used in the conclusion of papers, but they can also be used when giving an example in a body paragraph.
